A page from the the 1887 Collin catalog depicting a miniature tower clock. Here the clock is equipped with Wagner's swinging frame remontoire invented by Bernard-Henri Wagner. The Collin company had taken over the firm of Bernard-Henri Wagner in the 1870's.  He was the uncle of Jean Wagner, both engaged and cooperated with each other in the construction of public clocks. Jean Wagner's firm was later bought out by Borrel.
